Oh Cana-duh
Roll with it

Canada is a small and relatively low-key country. Our population is about one-tenth of the US' and when it comes to the world stage we tend to shuffle around in the background and keep our heads down.

Sometimes I think that what unites Canadians most isn't being the underdog of the neighbouring US or the fact that we have really cold winters, but it's all the dumb things that people tend to say to us.

Someone asked me recently about our national cuisine and whether it involved moose or bear. In response - here are a few recipes that are uniquely Canadian and I hope will show off just some of the beautiful and fresh ingredients that Canadians have on their doorsteps. Hmmph!
