Hip rock-heritage hunting lodge
The Beatles, the Stones and the Kinks all played at the Scotch in the 1960s, and Stella McCartney, Kate Moss and Scarlett Johansson have cavorted here since it reopened earlier this year. The interior is 'tartan on acid', with dark oak panelling, a huge crown chandelier and baronial-style taxidermy. Cocktails have names like 'Maggie May' and the DJs mix 1980s synth-pop with 1970s rock faves. By appointment only.
Top Tip:
Don’t worry if you’re tardy finishing dinner – its archaic late licence means the Scotch can serve drinks until 5am.
