Krystof Strozyna
Krystof may only have been showing for three seasons, but he’s already been picked up by Relative MO (PR gurus to the likes of Christopher Kane), and has been making quite a splash on the scene with his graphic silhouettes and oversized, lacquered jewellery.
So how far has he come since graduating from Central Saint Martins a mere two years ago? Well, as far as Africa anyway. Taking inspiration from African art, piercings and a geometry reminiscent of outback armour, Strozyna incorporated strings into panelled dresses and slim pants, and embellished ribbed jerseys and wool crepes with metal beads.
Add a dash of cut-outs to his typically bodycon silhouette, in a palette of black, beige and neon pink, and you’ve got what will undoubtedly be a strong editorial collection. Whether we’ll be seeing women in string dresses come winter, however, is another matter.
