Held annually since 1769, the Summer Exhibition is the world’s largest open-submission exhibition. Highlights from the 1262 works (selected from more than 12,000 entries) include a trio of sketches by Tracey Emin (who submits pieces nearly every year) and a quirky bicycle in the architecture room, with loopy wheels that can apparently actually be ridden.
