Serpentine Pavilion
The 14th Pavilion designed by Smiljan Radić
Open June 26 to October 19, a semi-translucent, cylindrical structure resembling a shell will grace the entrance to the Serpentine Gallery. Designed by Chilean architect Smiljan Radić, the Pavilion features a cafe and social space, and on select Friday nights, will be the home of events celebrating art, poetry, music, film, literature and theory. The new Serpentine Sackler Gallery and its restaurant The Magazine, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, are also well worth a visit.
