If you thought rugby was just for shin-kicking posh boys and Antipodean nations with a grudge to bear, think again! Last year saw England’s very own Women’s Rugby Squad storm to victory over the New Zealand Ferns for the first time in eight years, and are currently ranked second and hot favourites to win this year. Plus we’re the host nation – so any bloody elbows and muddy knees will be scraping around on home turf – a comfort indeed.
