A bit of an Ibiza institution and meeting point for Brits (the Hed Kandi lot and the odd celebrity come here), Base Bar is a friendly and lively spot for pre-club drinks. Just next to the Rock Bar in Ibiza Old Town on the main drag of the harbour, the bar’s informal schedule is pretty reliable – people start arriving about half past midnight (dinnertime is invariably around half ten in Ibiza), drink, natter and soak up the music before heading to the clubs at half two. Owner Jason Bull (he also owns Sands and Hotel Es Vive) and manager Tony are much loved for their hospitality and pride themselves on supporting up and coming island DJ talent. Also they know everyone!
