Smaller and quieter, with clear waters splashing into its little cove, Cala Escondido was an insider secret until the chic little solar-paneled chiringuito popped up a few summers ago. And though it does now attract some spillover from Cala Conta and Sunset Ashram just 500m away, its nudist leanings mean it’s still much less frequented than the famous sunset spot.

Top tip: Unlike other beaches, there aren’t many guys with well-stocked cool boxes here selling cold drinks (so come relatively prepared) – although there is a lovely old lady who cleans away cigarette butts and can sell you a can of Coke or beer.
