Big is not always best, as this little hotel proves with a punch. With seven rooms and seven suites, Can Lluc is a nature-lover’s dream set in the rural heart of Ibiza with walking trails dotted throughout the countryside. Lucas, the owner, is a gem; as are the rooms with their pretty stone walls, beamed ceilings and fireplaces for the chillier winter months – curl up with a glass of wine from the estate’s Moscatel grapes. Those looking for a greater degree of privacy should ask for the Paller or S’era suites housed in a separate building. The pool and gym facilities are particularly generous.
