Proving that British visitors to the island have more to offer than just fish & chips and lager, this boutique hotel used to be the private residence of Carry On actor Terry Thomas. Now restored and run by his son Cushan and wife Lettie, it hosts six bright and breezy rooms in its warm yellow walls. A sprinkling of gentleman’s club with leather sofas and elegant red and gold upholstery, outdoor terraces provide the perfect respite from the sunshine. Known as ‘the house on the hill’, guests have amazing views over the Mediterranean in amongst some of the most unspoilt landscape on the island.
