There are more shops in Ibiza Town selling boho tops and white, tiered dresses than we can (or care to) count, but Charo Ruiz, the eponymous brand from the daughter and granddaughter of dressmakers from Seville, is a trusty source for quality styles that won’t fall apart after their first wash. Around since 1989, she started her career in fashion as a model in Barcelona before launching the brand, which now has stores around Spain and counts Harrod’s, Revolve Clothing and Net-a-Porter among its stockists.

Top tip: Think beyond the beach bar when perusing the selection here: a flowy dress may be just the ticket for El Chiringuito or Blue Marlin, but the tops also look great with high-waisted jeans back in the city.
