Dawn Hindle

Joint founder of Manumission and creative director of Ibiza Rocks

Hailing from the north of England where she trained as an architect, Dawn Hindle came to Ibiza for the first time back in 1994 and hasn’t looked back since. It was here that she jointly set-up the infamous Manumission in what was then Ku (now Privilege). It was also here that, 15 years later, she and her husband Andy McKay then created the equally famous Ibiza Rocks hotel, their Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes agroturismo, a series of killer summer events and even a clothing store, and it’s clear why Dawn Hindle loves the island so.

Dawn Hindle’s Top Tips

  1. Sa Caleta beach restaurant is a small and family run fish restaurant by the sea. Try bullit de peix, incredible local fish and potatoes in a saffron sauce. Top it off with the house café caleta. Just make sure someone else is driving you home!
  2. The Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes Hotel – quirky rooms, “Club Tropicana” pool, and Room 39 which is quickly becoming known as one of islands best restaurants.
  3. La Paloma has just the most authentic Ibiza hippy vibe on the island – fresh organic food, beautiful people, and pure old finca style.
