One of our very favourite hideaways, Es Cucons is a style boutique hotel run by sister team Maria and Barbara. Set amongst beautiful flora and fauna in the valley of San Agnes – think lavender, geraniums and almond blossoms – the whitewashed farmhouse dates back to 1652 but is exquisitely decorated. Popular with newlyweds (the Honeymoon Suite is beyond beautiful with its own private deck and outdoor spa bath), there are only 15 rooms to choose from, so you won’t have to share the pool and its gorgeous canopied relaxation spaces with too many other residents. Book off season for complete peace and rest.
