Also on the stunning white beach of Illetes is Es Moli de Sal. Another boat destination, although it is also accessible by land, this former mill is a favourite of both King Juan Carlos of Spain and interior designer Phillipe Starck – they both moor their yachts here and come for the fabulous seafood. Open all day, the restaurant is just metres away from the water with the terrace providing breathtaking views of the sea and port. Try house speciality caldereta de llagosta (lobster stew) – choose your own from the aquarium – or its famous salad payesa with peix sec (dried fish).
