James Lohan’s Top Tips

1. Get the right olive restaurant in the Old Town – there are two. La Oliva (+34 971 305 752) is utterly charming and does fine Med food. Ask for a table outside on the cobbled walkway and settle in for a couple of bottles of Albariño.
2. The main road to Sant Josep has our favourite Italian restaurant – Trattoria del Sole. Cosy, glamorous and just as good out of season.
3. No-frills tapas joint Bon Lloc (+34 971 311 813) is on the main road in the heart of Jesús is a good starting point for getting into the island vibe – it really makes you feel like a local.
