Julia Rebaudo

Photography obsessed freelance writer and style blogger

As a half-Scottish, half-Italian, Copenhagen-raised and now London-based journalist and writer, Julia Rebaudo knows a thing or two about seeing the world. Her first visit to Formentera was only a few years ago – but the island’s sense of serenity and contagious bliss has converted her into a fully-fledged fan.

Julia Rebaudo’s Top Tips for Formentera

  1. Head to the La Mola Sunday hippie market for handcrafted silver rings and perfect flat leather sandals. Find yourself some cheap straw totes at any of the village food shops.
  2. Check out the Roman settlement remains in Sa Calo.
  3. Head up to the north of the island for the best snorkeling – but wherever you are, have a nighttime beach picnic and watch the shooting stars.
