Kim Booth

International music and event PR, yoga teacher, writer

Kim Booth is the PR gal for Cocoon Ibiza and Sankeys—and this summer, she’ll also be teaching yoga classes for those seeking a bit of balance. She came to Ibiza the way many do: on an all-inclusive week with nine girlfriends. “It was 1998; we got really drunk and really bad sunburn,” she recalls. “I wish it were a bit more glamorous!” Luckily, she returned a few years later and each year, falls deeper in love with the island. “It has everything I want and has a magical, beautiful energy unlike any I have experienced anywhere in the world. You can do whatever you want here – hide away from the world, or party in the sun with all your friends. It’s also pretty cosmic and things happen here that just don’t anywhere else.”

Kim Booth’s Top Tips

  1. Get a car and drive around the north of the island. You can never really get lost in Ibiza and it’s amazing what little towns, beaches and nature spots you come across when you really explore. It’s almost a different world.
  2. My favourite restaurant is the pizzeria on Talamanca. Simple, good, cheap Italian food. It’s right on the beach and owned by an old Italian lady called Bianca, who is possibly a little mad.
  3. Check out the St. Jordi market on Saturday mornings. It’s a massive flea market in the hippodrome and you find all kinds of weird and wonderful things.
