Las Banderas

Shabby chic for fashionistas

A favourite with the fashion crowd – its previous owners were make-up artist Charlotte Tilbury and her sister Leah – Las Banderas, now under new Italian management, is one of the oldest buildings on the island. Shabby chic and awash with pink, green and blue pastel furnishings, the eight double bedrooms are charming if a little basic, but for B&B at around 200 euros a night (prices depend on the season) you can’t really complain. Every room has a balcony and a sea-view – you are right on the long stretch that is Mitjorn beach. The multi-coloured draped Las Banderas restaurant offers excellent Spanish and Italian cuisine and should you be looking to tie the knot, many a wedding ceremony and reception has taken place here too.

Top Tip:
Book early to avoid disappointment as rooms go fast.
