True to its name (which means ‘the lovers’ in Spanish), it’s hard not to fall in love with Los Enamorados. With just nine rooms, the hotel, opened by Pierre, an ex-basketball player, and Rozemarijn, a former magazine editor, is in Portinatx harbour, –about as the far north as you can get. The décor is a tasteful explosion of texture and colour, and trust us, you’ll want to take pictures of everything: the Jonathan Adler vases, the quirky, life-sized toy sheep, the pompom-adorned cushions. Luckily, it’s all for sale so you can just take it home with you instead. There’s also a restaurant downstairs with a creative tapas menu – think salmon blinis, prawn carpaccio, and tuna tacos – and amazing views.
