DJ and IMS Director, Pete Tong first visited the white isle in 1986 on a trip with Nicky Holloway, Bob Jones and Trevor Fung: “It was all very ‘foreign’ back then, and the Brits used to stick to the Brits, so we were in a bit of a distorted reality. I really fell in love with the island when I returned to play Manumission & Cream (Amnesia) in 1991.” Why does he return year after year? “Despite the explosion of popularity of EDM in the USA, Ibiza still feels like the centre of the universe when it comes to music and clubbing. It’s the place where the best of everything comes together. Aside from that it s a beautiful soulful island with an amazing climate and food… what else do you need?”
