Ralph Moore
Pacha Magazine writer, Mixmag Editor and all round music mogul
A self-confessed Ibiza maven, Ralph dabbles in every aspect of the music industry. He runs his own company, Moore Media, co-manages the band Tensnake and drives the A&R direction of the electronic label More Music. He also writes the majority of the music content for Pacha Magazine and is Editor at Large of Mixmag. Ralph fell in love with the island on his first visit: “I haven’t missed a month or season in 13 years and ultimately my career came out of that first season.”
Ralph Moore’s Top Tips
- Fish shack – it really is the best place on the island to relax and eat fresh fish. The grilled prawns are divine and so is the calamari. Flashing lights aren’t everything in Ibiza.
- Watch out for wristbands. Everybody knows that Cocoon after-hours are legendary but as time marches on, it’s inevitable that there are other parties you can stop off at before you head there in the afternoon. Just look out for the right (gold) wristband and make sure you cancel all appointments and phone calls on Tuesday morning.
- Explore the old town: the views, the vibe, the ultimate in people watching. Look out for a new sushi restaurant called Sushiya Aoyama (Plaza de Sa Drassaneta), which is a hidden gem (and super-reasonable for those on a budget).
