Fashion news, trend reports, and styling tips are Rebecca Tay’s domain as a writer, editor and digital content gal, though travel and leisure feature heavily in her work, too. So how did this London-based Canadian ex-pat first find her way to Ibiza? “It was 2009, and a friend (now boyfriend!) invited me over as I was travelling through Spain on my own,” she recalls. “It happened to be Space opening weekend, we got together, and I ended up visiting Ibiza three more times – from Vancouver, no less – that summer alone.”

Rebecca Tay’s Top Tip

1. Salinas is still one of my favourite beaches – such great people watching, such lovely white sand, such crystal clear water!
2. There was a short-lived rumour that Can Pilot  was closing, but  they’re safe and sound, and I think it was a ploy to keep this meat restaurant a secret! The big queues are a true indication of the quality of food: book ahead if you can.
3. I went to Can Pujol for the first time last summer. Go with a group and order the fish platter and plenty of wine. It’s amazing.
