Gastown

As with all nouveau-cool areas, this previously seedy space has now turned into downtown's hotspot. Good news is creative types (seemingly) haven't been pushed out yet. Bad news is, you've still got to watch your back, though it's increasingly becoming a place for foodie pilgramages, cocktail lovers and designer shoppers too.
