Modern family values according to Dr Reena Sommer

All you night owls who partied the night away at Golf Sale, East London's louche club night, will be relieved to hear that founder Richard Mortimer is launching his new night, FAMILY, this Saturday.

Family offers a backlash against the super club, it promises to be an unpretentious underground experience, where all guests are as important as any guest DJ.

Unlike most night time offerings of late, Family is all about the crowd. After all, that's what makes a night worth staying up for. Music is fun with Resident DJs: Twogood, formerly of ultra-cool electro night Fesh, and Kokon To Zai's Jerry Bouthier playing strictly "nothing too hard".

There's an open door policy, in tune with the night's non-elitist stance, and best of all, it's free.

Family - opens this Saturday January 22
at T Bar in The Tea Building
56 Shoreditch High Street, E1
Open 9pm until 2am. Free entry
