Customizing is very much like DIY, in theory we can all join in and have a go - shame desirable results don't come so easy. |

Take my recent trip to the stationer's, whilst mulling over the expansive choice of printing paper I discovered some iron-on transfer sheets; to transform T-shirts and textiles in an instant. Unfortunately, my old, and rather underused, iron wasn't up to the job - and let's just say a perfectly fine vest top got destroyed in the process. Not one to be put off by my lack of skill I discovered
a nifty online design service - Comboutique.com.
The idea is you upload one of your artistic masterpieces or select an
image from the gallery, choose your style of tee, colour and size -
then they do all the hard work for you. Give it a day or two, and voila,
there's a professionally printed t-shirt at your door featuring a handcrafted
design by your good self. |

The site also includes an online style boutique so you can sell your unique creations to all and sundry at no extra cost. Looks like certain designers out there selling customized tees for silly money will have to come up with an alternative wheeze. ComboutiqueT-shirts from £11, plus £2.50 postage and packing |
