Beautification Project Week Three "Food diary". The two words that strike fear in the heart of any cheese/wine/pizza fiend. Jonny asks us a form to fill out for the week so he can see how we eat. Now, usually, with these kinds of things, I'd just lie. I know what I'm supposed to be eating - don't we all - so, hey, if I omit the box of Godiva chocolates I ate in one sitting, we all win. But instead I tell the truth. |

It was a particularly bad week which involved a lot of late-night scoffing cheese straight from the block, Tesco pepperoni pizzas and, um, quite a lot of red wine. But Jonny doesn't seem very bothered - though he is alarmed by our cheese consumption - and he brings a selection of "good" treats for us to try for our third session, and some ways to tweak our diet. It seems we aren't actually eating enough. To speed up our metabolism, we need to eat more and more often. Taryn and I are struck mute for the first time. Ever. We are actually really getting into it, partly because
of our competitive nature (I'm still stronger and more flexible). Sure,
it hurts the next day (and the next, and the next). |

But gradually, Jonny is increasing the intensity of our sessions, and even though I think I might die if I have to do another three reps, somehow I do. Whining all the way. For more info on Lomax PT, check out www.lomaxpt.com |
