I'd like to pretend I have a healthy diet, but the truth is, whole weeks can go by without a fresh fruit or vegetable passing my lips. It's not that I don't like fruit and veg, well, it's just that I don't like it as much as say, cheese, or hot rolls soaked in melted butter, or ice cream. |

Usually I'll decide to be healthy, buy all the raw ingredients, which will slowly but surely rot in the fridge, because I forget one important factor: I'm never home. And, if I am, I sure don't feel like carrots. No, I feel like pizza. So, in attempt to clean up my diet of croissants, chocolate and biscuits,
I pledge to eat healthy for a week - this clearly coincides with a hot
date, you understand. I also decide not to drink. |

But then the good people from a new company Muddler send through some information, and free samples. It really is my journalistic duty to test new products - especially alcohol products - for you. And the good news is that they are made out of fresh fruit (and a little bit - a splash, really - of rum) so it's not like I'm cheating. But after drinking three muddlers, my resolve completely goes and I eat the whole tub of Ben and Jerry. Which was my flatmate's. Sorry, Em.
