Cala Gracioneta
Secluded bay for romantic evenings
Cute as a button and just as small, this beautiful secluded bay near San Antonio isn’t the easiest to find after negotiating a winding road and taking a slippery path downhill, but that’s part of its charm. There’s only room for about 30 sunbathers (with loungers to hire too) who come for the crystal clear waters surrounded by sloping woodland, and Chiringuito which serves ‘secret recipe’ paella (rumoured to be the best on the island.) Stick around on Friday nights for live entertainment from 9pm, and check the schedule to find out when Gypsy Moreno, of the legendary Gypsy Kings, might pop by with his flamenco guitar.
Top Tip:
If you’ve come too late and it’s over crowded, try Galera.
