Eva travels the world launching some of the world’s most successful music and arts festivals. She has over 15 years’ experience in the music, entertainment and event world but still remembers her first trip to Ibiza back in 1992. “I fell in love with it immediately and went to work for Manumission and lived in the infamous Manumission Motel for a summer… [it was] the best of times.”

Eva McBride’s Top Tips 

1. You have to go to the Fish Shack. It is hard to find, but they serve the best fish on the island. It is near Talamanca and the views of the island at sunset are incredible. It’s very humbling and the family that run it are the best.
2. Cala Xucular – This beauty spot is a tiny cove near San Juan and is perfect for a late afternoon swim. It is so calm there, uncrowded with a tiny little restaurant with about 4 tables serving only 4 or 5 dishes a day. When the sun goes down, the restaurant is lit with fairy lights. It is stunning and romantic and they serve the best rosé wine.
