Las Dalias
Cool vibes at Ibiza’s nighttime market
Just five stalls and a handful of visitors when it opened in 1985, today Las Dalias is a thriving market with over 200 stalls as well as bars, an outdoor restaurant, pizza hut and concert hall. Every Saturday, thousands of locals and tourists flock to peruse the traders’ wares – jewellery, clothes, books, paintings, instruments, records, hammocks, incense, antiques; the list is endless. As well as the much-loved smaller Monday night market – eat under the stars to acoustic music – there are impromptu gallery exhibitions, live bands and performance art pieces throughout the summer. Keep an eye out for the Moroccan tea tent and mime acts and recoup in the afternoon at the Soul Bar where Pacha DJs play until the market closes.
Top Tip:
Go early on a Saturday to avoid the crowds, or even better on Monday nights when it’s both quieter and cooler! Don’t forget euros for parking.
