My flatmate and I have an unhealthy obsession with Agatha Christie murder mysteries - those old Poirot and Miss Marple telly specials. My flatmate, because she loves a good murder; me, because I'm quite sure I was born sixty years too late. |

I would have loved to live in the soigne 30s, swanning around in silk oriental robes with cigarette holders, dramatically fainting whenever a gentleman said anything mildly inappropriate. And, traveling was so much more glamorous - especially by ship - with porters and proper steamer trunks. I'm not the only one it seems. Cruising, especially on old-fashioned
wood-paneled ships, is the new way to holiday. "Designer"
and trustafarian Dan Macmillan is rumoured to be taking his summer hols
on a 1930s era ship. With a murder mystery theme. Bless. |
