Gwynnie has been squeezing money out of Spain for a while now. She's been the face for department store chain El Corte Inglés (don't they usually go further abroad to do that?), and now, it seems, she's about to hit the road filming a US cooking programme in Spain, where she ventures away from her hemp seed diet to eat a bit of fish. WOW! |

This has got us thinking about fish though, as there seems to be a bit of a fish revolution going on right now, and it has nothing to do with sushi. The Cape Town Fish Market may look like an underwater version of the Rainforest Café, but the odd 'fashion' sarnies including eel and avocado caught our eye; different than tuna and mayo at least. The recently opened Texture restaurant shied away from chef's tasting
menus, and went straight in with a champagne and fish tasting one, and
likewise, one of Liberty's new restaurants is the Champagne and Oyster
Bar - finally an alternative to more scones. |

And should you want to try some of the urchins Gwynnie is sure to be raving about, head for Charlotte Street's Fino or, for more digestible prices, Vauxhall's Rebato's and order some bunuelos, chipirones and xoco. Everything's fried though, which leads us to believe, that Gwynnie will definitely have to have a tasting double on her travels. Cape
