Gardem
Lebanon-born Gardem Dermedijian is the designer behind Paris- based label, Gardem. Gardem studied at Academy of Beaux Arts in Beirut before moving to Paris to attend the Esmod School of Fashion. Gardem is a bold experimenter with superb cutting skills. His designs tend to take a deconstructed form with intricate draping and layering of silks over leathers: ultimately Gardem Paris gives women the opportunity to create their own personal style. The collection often juxtaposes expensive and refined fabrics with the very basic to achieve a more modern luxurious feel. The label's colour palette tends to compliment a woman's natural skin, hair and eye tone so as not to compete with her personality.
