Having reopened earlier this year with a slick new look, the Glowbal Grill continues to shine in the steak and satay arena, especially now that its interiors are as glitzy as the menu options. Gold snakeskin suede banquettes and hammered brass chandeliers glitter almost as much as the clientele, which range from local celebrities to beautiful young things getting off on the people watching almost as much as the sight of their own reflections in the wall-hung mirrors. That said, there's still no better option for steak, whilst the house's famous Spaghetti & Kobe Meatballs remains a firm favourite and is best enjoyed from a courtyard seat, or for bigger parties, the signature 10-seater round table. Decamp to the semi-secret VIP bar in the back, Afterglow, with its sexy onyx bar post-dinner.
