The first Canadian offering from three star Michelin chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten, Market is the local Shangri-La's in-house restaurant/café/bar and it certainly lives up to everything that the name implies. The aesthetics are clean yet comfortable, the food impressive but not prohibitively expensive, the vibe relaxed and warm, and the drinks fabulous. We recommend you save the fine-dining for your next visit and settle into the lounge bar instead, as local alco-legend Justin Tisdall (previously of Lumiere and Boneta) mixes up some fantastic, classy concoctions.
Top Tip / UJ Loves: Sliding up to the bar for a crisp glass of wine on a warm evening...you feel like you've just flown into Miami. Tell the sommelier what you fancy and leave the selection up to him.
