With its modern-rustic interior, relaxed attitude and plenty of volume through the speakers, this East Vancouver local draws in a friendly crowd of mostly sub-30 hipsters and art-types. There's a decent selection of bar food to keep you going (the roast duck pizza on puff pastry gets a thumbs up), an unlikely line-up of beers and, rather refreshingly, a cocktail list with a sense of humour (Seven Deadly Sins martinis vs. Four Cardinal Virtues sangrias) to make sure your evenings go with a crack.
