The Yaletown Brewing Company
Microbrewery and pub with plenty of character.
While Vancouver demonstrates an unrelenting taste for what can best be described to the unfamiliar as 'upmarket sports bars', The Yaletown Brewing Company remains both one of the oldest and finest examples of the trend. This capacious microbrewery and pub is friendly and lively, with plenty of TVs (for all the hockey game action), pool tables, satisfying pub fare and a crackling fireplace for the winter months. Despite the trendy Yaletown address and moniker, this is a good option for an unpretentious local drink with friends.
Top Tip / UJ Loves: The 'tram' that transports you from here to GM Place. The rocker sing alongs are also a definite highlight.
UJ Orders: Brick and Beam IPA Beer - first brewed for the Colonial Brits in India. .
