Tucked in beside the Moda Hotel, daytimes at this chic winebar are a buzzy affair as Downtown Vancouverites chat away over well-prepared tapas and exceptional coffees. By evening, as the lights dim, the same care and attention switches to a cocktail menu that draws many a regular. Beers are split between lagers, wheat beers and a wealth of various breeds of ale; the spirit collection is equally broad; and the wine list - well, with a name like Uva of course it's pretty darn special.
